Privacy Policy — Vernoly

This policy describes how the Vernoly mobile application (“App”) and its supporting backend service handle information. The App is provided by the developer (“we”, “us”). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

What Vernoly is

Vernoly helps you build a personal codex of principles and check decisions against it. Unlike a strictly on-device app, Vernoly stores your account and the content you create on our backend so that it follows you across devices and across reinstalls.

Information we process

Third-party services

The App integrates SDKs and APIs including sign-in (Apple, Google), subscription management (Adapty), large-language-model APIs (such as OpenAI), product analytics (PostHog), crash reporting (Sentry), and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Those providers may collect technical and usage data according to their own notices. We do not sell your personal information.

Where data is stored

Account data and the content you create are stored in a PostgreSQL database on infrastructure we operate. Some third-party providers may store derived data in their own regions. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect this data, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account and all the content associated with it from the in-app Settings screen. You can also request deletion by emailing us at the address below. Subscription management is handled through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Uninstalling the App does not by itself delete server-side data — use the in-app delete option or contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy; the revision date or in-App notice will reflect material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
